Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: A
well defined integrated approach to policy creation, planning, and
implementation is required in the transportation sector. Although
transportation as a sector comprises airways, oceans, and trains, the road and
waterways are of particular importance and focus from the perspective of the
Provincial Transport Department, after the devolution of power under the 18th
Constitutional Amendment. Given the challenges and opportunities presented by
our geopolitical/strategic and geo economic conditions underpinned by globalization
and international interconnectedness, the current transportation infrastructure
in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa requires a full analysis and review. In September 2008,
the current government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa made the strategic decision to
establish an independent Transport Department, recognizing the importance of
the sector.
Wafaqe Muhtasib Secretariat Federal Government: Wafaqi Mohtasib's key responsibilities included diagnosing, investigating, redressing, and rectifying any injustice done to the public as a result of a Federal Government agency mismanagement.
